Costa Blanca Travel

Alicante Airport (ALC) serves the Costa Blanca. It is located centrally to the entire Costa Blanca and is a full service airport.

There are taxis available at the airport although most only carry 4 people. If your party is larger, a variety of airport transfers can be arranged ahead of time. An airport bus runs regularly to Alicante city centre. Follow the links below to find the best airline for your Costa Blanca holiday.

Another option for travellers is San Javier Airport in Murcia (MJV), south of Costa Blanca. While its main service is to Costa Calida, it’s within easy reach of many places in southern Costa Blanca.

Costa Blanca Car Rental

Costa Blanca car rental is just about the cheapest in Europe due to stiff competition. Many companies are available at Alicante Airport, but only some have branches in the actual airport. Below is a list of useful links to help you get started.

Trains in Costa Blanca

The main operator in Spain is Renfe. There is a station serving Alicante, however other than Alicante, trains in Costa Blanca can be limited to the scenic Lemon Train, a coastal railway from Alicante to Denia stopping in Villajoyosa, Altea, and Teulada. Check out Renfe for schedules and fares.

Denia ferries & Alicante ferries

From the Costa Blanca Denia ferries and Alicante ferries run to the Balearic Islands and the Canary Islands. Ibiza can be reached in as little as 2 ½ hours! Visit Direct Ferries to plan your journey.
